Comilla saw their first win by beating Barisal in a breathtaking match

9 runs needed in the last over.  Not a trivial thing for a T20.  But Pakistani batsman Khushdil Shah was run out by Barisal on the first ball.  That's when the drama freezes.  But the bowler Matthew Ford came to the field and became the batter.Khaled Ahmed took 2 runs in the first tackle.  He hit a six on the next ball.  He hit the next ball for a boundary.  scores are equal.  This West Indies cricketer gave Comilla a breathtaking 4-wicket victory by scoring 1 run in the fifth ball.

The way Comilla was batting slowly while chasing the target of 162 runs thrown by Barisal, it seemed that any team batting first in BPL would win.

But Imrul Kayes stood up in the middle order causing headaches for the Barisal bowlers.  He picked up his second consecutive half century.  Even after scoring 66 runs in the previous match, the team could not win.  This time his innings of 52 runs off 41 balls laid the groundwork for Comilla's victory.  Also Zaker Ali's patient batting played a great role in Comilla's victory.

In the first match, Comilla lost to Dhaka by 5 wickets.  The current champion team got their first win in the second match.  On the other hand, Barisal saw their second loss in the third match.

Liton Das and Mohammad Rizwan made a cautious start to reply to Barisal's 161;  But after the team scored 26 runs, Mohammad Rizwan and Tawhid Hridiya were dismissed in a row by Lankan spinner Vellalag.  After that, Comilla fell under pressure.  Liton Das also got out after scoring 13 runs off 18 balls.

Ruston Chase played an innings of 13 runs off 15 balls.  Then Imrul fought with Zaker Ali.  In addition to keeping one end, he also made quick runs.  When Imrul got out, the team was 116 runs.  Comilla still needed 46 runs off 21 balls.  Khushdil Shah scored 14 runs from 7 balls and Zaker Ali made an unbeaten 23 from 20 balls. Matthew Ford scored 13 runs from 4 balls in the last minute to give the team victory.
